1. Overview.
Absolutely Business is committed to protecting your right to privacy as a user of our product and other services. It is our policy to respect the privacy of private communication. The information you provide to us will be held for Absolutely Business on servers based within the UK or European Economic Area (‘’EEA’’), and, except as explained below, we will not transfer it, or authorise its transfer, outside of these areas.
We collect information about our users in order to help us continually improve the products and services we offer, and so that we can enter into commercial arrangements. Absolutely Business will always adhere to UK Data Protection Legislation, including but not limited to, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK GDPR.
Other than as stated below, we do not hold or use any information that you provide, or which we collect, outside the UK or European Economic Area (“EEA”), nor do we transfer it to, or share it with, others within or outside the UK or EEA (except as stated below or when we believe in good faith that the law requires it).
This Privacy Policy only relates to the Absolutely Business website and does not extend to your use of the Internet outside of the Absolutely Business website at www.absolutelybusiness.co.uk.
2. Information about us.
"Absolutely Business" is the trading name of Growth Framework Limited, a private limited company, registered in England, company number 16177819. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. (Growth Framework Limited, Absolutely Business, we, us, our).
For all visitors to our Website, Growth Framework Limited is the controller for your information (which means we decide what information we collect and how it is used). We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection matters, under number ZB852548.

3. Data collection.
We aim to keep personal data collection and storage to a minimum. We collect and use the following
personal (and non-personal) data:
Your company name.
Main contact name.
Main contact email address.
Your registration and payment information.
Number of employees.
Your subscription history.
Your video viewing and template download history.
Your IP address.
Feedback.
User data i.e. information about your visit to our Website
Marketing data
We may anonymise the personal data we collect (so it can no longer identify you as an individual) and then combine it with other anonymous information, so it becomes aggregated data. Aggregated data helps us identify trends (e.g. what percentage of users responded to a specific survey). Data protection law does not govern the use of anonymous data, and the various rights described below do not apply to it.
We do not monitor your use of the Internet, but we do use cookies and similar technologies, including web analytics, to monitor your use of Absolutely Business products and services if you opt-in to our use of them.
This information is not stored alongside your personal data and will only be used on an anonymous, aggregated basis. When you first visit the site, you will be prompted to select your cookie settings, with an option to opt- into or out of some or all of the non-essential cookies that we use. We may process your personal data in combination with the videos viewed and templates downloaded, in order to maintain and improve the facilities we offer, and to send you alerts about important updates to such content (see below).
4. Use of data.
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
LEGITIMATE INTEREST - pursue our legitimate interests (our justifiable business aims),
but only if those interests are not outweighed by your other rights and freedoms (e.g. your right to privacy);
LEGAL OBLIGATION - comply with a legal obligation that we have; and
CONSENT - do something that you have given your consent for.
Providing and managing your account and / or subscription(s). (LEGITIMATE INTEREST) Supplying you with the Growth Framework, services, products, information, videos, templates, and other content either through the Absolutely Business site or by email. You can control your email preferences from your Account and can opt out of our newsletters and bulletins when you register (or at any time thereafter). Please note that some emails are an integral part of the Absolutely Business service you sign up for when registering with Absolutely Business and cannot be opted out of, and that by registering, you are consenting to us using your personal data to send such emails. We will never send you any spam and always aim to ensure that our emails will be genuinely useful to recipients. (LEGITIMATE INTEREST) Communicating with you, for example responding to emails or calls from you. (CONSENT) Building up a profile of your interests and preferences based on your viewing and download history (this is not an automated decision-making process and such activity includes human involvement). 5. Cookies.
Absolutely Business uses services of its technology supplier Squarespace who controls cookies used on the website. For their cookie policy please visit: https://www.squarespace.com/cookie-policy/. (There is an option to select optional cookies by clicking the cookie icon at bottom of our website home page).
6. Retained data period.
The personal data that you provide when registering with Absolutely Business is retained until you ask us to delete it. If you wish to delete your account, you can do so using the ‘Delete My Account’ link in ‘My Account’.
Video viewing and template download histories are retained indefinitely, as anonymised aggregated data and when an account is deleted, this information cannot be used to identify you. Deleted accounts cannot be reactivated. We also retain records of subscriptions and transactions for accounting purposes. Personal data contained within emails sent to us will be retained for as long as we reasonably require it.
Questions relating to our content along with our answers to those questions may be retained (unless you ask us not to), in order to facilitate answering similar queries in the future, whether from you or from others. We also retain certain communications to aid in the conduct of potential future legal claims.
7. Personal data storage and transfer.
We will only transfer information outside of the UK where we have a valid legal mechanism in place (to make sure that your personal data is guaranteed a level of protection, regardless of where in the world it is located, e.g. by using contracts approved by the European Commission or UK Secretary of State).
8. Sharing personal data.
We share (or may share) your personal data with:
Our personnel: Absolutely Business employees (or other types of workers) who have contracts containing confidentiality and data protection obligations.
Our supply chain: other organisations that help us provide our services (for example, Squarespace who host our Website and subscription Products, ScoreApp who host our free products and Stripe who provide payment management services).
We ensure these organisations only have access to the information required to provide the support for their contracted services which contain appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.
9. Data subject rights.
Individual data subjects have the following rights under the UK GDPR which we will always work to
uphold:
The right to be informed about our collection and use of your personal data (as described in this Privacy Policy).
The right to access your personal data by means of a subject access request (see below).
The right to have your personal data rectified if any of your personal data held by us is inaccurate or incomplete. You can do this either by contacting us or by clicking on the “Change My Details” link in your Account.
The right to erasure (also known as the right to be forgotten). You can exercise this right either by contacting us or by deleting your Account link in your Account. Please note that if you delete your account, it will be deleted immediately and if you have an active subscription, that subscription will be cancelled. If you wish to ensure that we delete data such as accounting data or emails from you, please contact us.
The right to restrict or object to our processing of your personal data for particular purposes. Email preferences can be changed using the “Email Preferences” link in your Account. Using this link you can opt-out of our newsletters and bulletins and, for expired subscriptions only, our alerts. For active subscriptions, alerts are an integral part of our service. The right to data portability. This means that you can ask us for a copy of your personal data to re-use with another service or business. Please note, however, that this right applies only if you have provided personal data to us directly, we are using it with your consent or for performance with a contract, and your data is processed using automated means.
Rights relating to automated decision-making and profiling. We do not, however, use your personal data in this way (see above).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office if you feel
that your rights have been breached.
10. Access to personal data.
All personal data provided by you during registration, along with details of your subscription and download history, can be accessed via your Account. If you wish to make a data subject access request, please do so in writing, sent to the email below, clearly marking your correspondence as a subject access request.
We do not normally charge for subject access requests unless they are “manifestly unfounded or excessive” (e.g. repetitive). We will respond to your subject access request within one month of receiving it. In the unlikely event that your request is particularly complex, a further two months may be required but we will keep you informed if this is the case.
